The NTI-3005IR is a 3.0 megapixel network camera equipped with powerful infrared LEDs and a high-resolution 2.8 ~ 12mm megapixel lens with automatic iris. In order to withstand even the most adverse environmental conditions, the camera was housed in a weatherproof housing and is therefore ideally suited for outdoor installation.

In 3.0 megapixel mode, it delivers 12.5 frames / sec. and in 2.0 megapixel mode (1080p), recording and playback takes place at 25 frames / sec. With the high resolution, night vision through built-in infrared LEDs and the modern H.264 compression technology, an excellent overall package is provided for round-the-clock surveillance.

The NTI-3005IR has a 1/3 progressive scan CMOS recording sensor with high light sensitivity in color and monochrome mode and a built-in infrared cut filter. The infrared cut filter automatically switches from color to monochrome mode when the lighting conditions change. This makes it suitable for almost all applications in which excellent images are required both day and night.

To ensure the best monitoring results, the NTI-3005IR has a megapixel lens with automatic iris and high variable focal length, a swiveling IR cut filter and night vision with a range of up to 25 meters in complete darkness. In addition, the weatherproof housing of protection class IP66 protects the camera against rain and dust and ensures operation in all weather conditions.

With a newly developed noise suppression function, the noise behavior of the network camera is noticeably improved and also has a positive direct effect on the image quality at times when there is insufficient lighting.

The NTI-3005IR offers numerous advanced functions that enable the full use of high-resolution video images. With the ePTZ function, you can zoom into an interesting region in the camera view with just a few clicks of the mouse via the web interface, software or network video recorder. In addition, functions such as tampering alarms, data protection masking, watermarks and data transfer to a NAS server or the up to 32GB SD card are part of the complete network camera package.

Like all modern network cameras, the NTI-3005IR has a dual power supply. This can be done via DC12V or alternatively via Power over Ethernet (PoE) if a Power over Ethernet capable switch or injector is available.

Infrared lighting
The built-in infrared LEDs provide a solution to the well-known dilemma of poor visibility in complete darkness and the high resolution. As a rule, the camera's sensitivity to light deteriorates more and more with higher megapixel resolution. To prevent this, powerful infrared LEDs developed for particularly poor lighting conditions were built into this network camera. The infrared LED integration leads to a significant improvement in visibility and image sharpness in absolute darkness.

Privacy masking
This function allows you to mask areas of the image so that they cannot be displayed or recorded. The size and position of these masks are programmable. Privacy masking is useful in applications where a camera can see areas that are not relevant for security purposes and where the camera operator wants to avoid privacy infringement lawsuits.

Multi-stream support
The network camera supports multiple video streams with different properties such as resolution and frame rate to different users or applications. All video streams can be scaled independently of one another and optimally adapted for the respective application. With one stream, the required bandwidth can be significantly reduced due to the reduced frame rate, while with another stream the compression is increased for the same purpose.

Power over Ethernet
The advantage of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is that the network camera connected to the network cable can be supplied with power directly. Even cameras that are installed in particularly difficult-to-access locations do not need an additional power supply via a power supply unit.
