What protection class does the wallbox have, and what does this mean?

The Besen wallboxes are classified under protection class IP66. IP is the abbreviation for "International Protection." The first digit in our case, 6, indicates the degree of protection against foreign objects/dust. The digit 6 is the highest or safest classification and means complete dust tightness and full protection against contact. The second digit indicates water resistance. The digit 6 indicates resistance against strong jets of water.
