Where is the best location for my satellite dish?
The satellite (southern direction) must have absolutely clear view - obstructing obstacles such as the roof, other houses, trees and shrubs. As a rule of thumb: Obstacles may only be about half as high as they are removed. A tree 20 meters away may only be 10 meters high if you want to mount the satellite dish near the ground. But you can also place your satellite dish higher up (for example, on the roof or on the house wall).
