Ajax relies on state-of-the-art authentication methods for a keyless experience. The keypad supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), allowing authorized users to easily control the system via their smartphone as soon as they approach the device. Alternatively, encrypted passport cards or tag transponders can be used. These utilize the internationally recognized DESFire® technology (ISO 14443), which offers maximum security against copying and spoofing with 128-bit encryption.
4 Types of Access Codes for Precise Control
For precise and traceable access control management, the KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller offers four different types of access codes. The keypad code serves as a general device code for quick on-site operation without requiring an individual user account. For detailed logging, personal user codes can be assigned: Each registered user receives their own unique numerical code, allowing the app's event log to precisely track which person operated the system and when.
Specifically for Individuals without their own Ajax Account, such as cleaning staff, delivery drivers, or guests, codes for unregistered users can be generated. These codes can be assigned individual names, enabling secure access control without granting access to the entire system. The security concept is rounded out by response team codes, specifically designed for security services or intervention forces, to allow for authorized and separately logged deactivation in the event of an alarm.
Reliable Control Under Extreme Conditions
The KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is designed to withstand unpredictable environmental conditions. Thanks to its IP66 rating, the housing is completely protected against dust and powerful water jets. With an IK08 impact resistance rating, the device also resists physical impacts and vandalism. Whether in extreme cold as low as -25°C or heat as high as +60°C, the large, mechanical buttons offer precise tactile feedback and can be reliably operated even with gloves.

This device is a three-in-one solution for your property. In addition to the classic management of security modes (arming/disarming, night mode), it serves as a control unit for your home automation system. Complex scenarios can be executed via a dedicated function key: For example, you can simultaneously close the garage door, shut off the water supply, and deactivate the outdoor lighting when leaving the property.
Audible Feedback and Status LED Display
A key advantage of this model is its immediate user interaction. A powerful integrated buzzer and bright LED indicators provide both audible and visual confirmation of every action. The keypad reliably informs you about alarms, entry and exit delays, and the current status of automation devices. You can customize the volume and brightness of these indicators to your individual needs using the Ajax apps.
Professional Tamper Protection and Easy Installation
Security is paramount: Two integrated tamper contacts trigger an immediate alarm if the device is removed from the wall without authorization. The KeyPad also supports threat codes for silent alarm activation in emergencies. Installation is quick and easy thanks to the SmartBracket mounting plate with integrated spirit level. With Jeweller wireless technology, the device has a range of up to 1,700 meters and can be integrated into the system in seconds using a QR code.
