The MAG540 is a powerful set-top box powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 processor and a brand-new chipset. This model is a lot more powerful than a traditional TV box and can easily play all popular modern video formats, including 4K. The device is ideal for Video On Demand services that want to offer their subscribers a reliable service. Thanks to their compatibility with other MAG set-top boxes, they can be seamlessly integrated into existing projects.

Powerful Chipset
Thanks to the new chipset Amlogic S905Y4-B and the ARM Cortex-A35 CPU, the new MAG model offers 25% more performance than its predecessor. The hardware built into MAG540 ensures fast work of the interface and smooth playback.
Playback of 4K Content
MAG540 supports AV1 and HEVC codecs, which allows the TV box to play videos in 4K without network overload. In contrast to the H.264 codec, which can only process videos from a bandwidth of 32 Mbit/s, only 16 Mbit/s is sufficient for HEVC.
Dolby Digital Plus Surround System*
Thanks to the new Dolby Digital Plus technology, the TV boxes enable clear surround sound that is evenly distributed over 8 channels. Each box can be connected to seven speakers and a subwoofer. In this way, the sound effects appear even more realistic and offer a much more immersive experience.
* A Dolby Digital Plus capable TV or home theater is required.
Easy Transition from older MAG Models
MAG540 box is easy to integrate into an existing project using other devices from the MAG series. Only minimal adjustments are required to get the new set-top box up and running.
