The NTI-2020IR-PTZ is the entry-level version of high-resolution NEOSTAR 2.0 megapixel PTZ network cameras with adaptive infrared LEDs. Thanks to the full HD resolution, the integrated 20X megapixel motor zoom lens and the adaptive infrared lighting, the PTZ network camera can capture distant objects with usable detail, monitor large crowds with a high response time and deliver high-resolution images of events in absolute darkness with unprecedented clarity.
In 2.0 megapixel mode (1080p), recording and playback takes place at 25 frames/sec. NTI-2020IR-PTZ has adaptive infrared lighting, which adjusts the angle of illumination and the intensity of the infrared LEDs to the current level of the 20X megapixel motor zoom lens. This leads to optimal illumination without overexposure up to a distance of 100m, even in complete darkness.
The PTZ network camera offers a PTZ function (pan, tilt, zoom) with a 360° continuous panning range and 20X optical zoom at a 1920x1080p resolution. This means that the entire environment can be captured without gaps. Thanks to a maximum pan and tilt speed of 240° per second, the camera can be quickly moved to any desired position. Up to 256 preset positions and 8 tours can be pre-programmed and set with an accuracy of degrees.
Numerous advanced functions are available to the user, which enable the full use of high-resolution video images. With the ePTZ function, the camera view can be zoomed into an interesting region with just a few mouse clicks via the web interface, software or network video recorder. In addition, functions such as manipulation alarm, data protection masking, snapshot function, watermark and data storage on a NAS server or the SD card with up to 32GB capacity are part of the overall package of the high-resolution "Full HD" PTZ network camera.
With its tilt range of 180° and pan range of over 360°, the surveillance area is recorded quickly and in detail. The integrated 3D noise reduction was specially developed for recordings in difficult lighting conditions and significantly improves the image quality, especially when taking pictures at night.
NTI-2020IR-PTZ complies with protection class IP66 and offers optimal protection against water and dust. It is therefore ideal for a wide variety of applications in unfavorable weather and environmental conditions.
Adaptive infrared lighting helps with intelligent image evaluation
The automatic activation of the infrared LEDs as soon as the camera detects a deterioration in lighting conditions is now part of the camera's standard equipment. However, this often led to under- or over-illuminated objects in the image section. In such situations, the "adaptive infrared lighting" intervenes. With the adaptive infrared technology, the image is intelligently evaluated and a readjustment is made based on over-illuminated objects. As a result, the over-illumination is eliminated in a very targeted manner. However, in the case of under-illumination, the power of individual infrared LEDs is increased in order to produce an evenly illuminated image.
HD video surveillance 24 hours a day, with the real day & night function
With the use of a high-quality, mechanically pivoting infrared blocking filter, the NEOSTAR PTZ network cameras are able to reproduce the colors precisely in color mode, while the light sensitivity is significantly increased in monochrome mode. Thanks to increased light sensitivity, day/night operation offers improved visibility in almost complete darkness. The infrared blocking filter automatically switches from color to monochrome mode when lighting conditions change. Thanks to a unique image processing technology with improved sensitivity, even sharper and more detailed images with exact color reproduction are guaranteed.
Advanced Adaptive 3D Noise Reduction
The 3D-DNR function eliminates noise and helps to create a significantly clearer image. The technology uses adaptive filters to reduce noise in bright areas of the image as well as in areas with movement to produce a clear and detailed image even in the most challenging lighting conditions. The result of the adaptive 3D noise reduction is almost noise-free images with a strong reduction in motion blur.
For absolute privacy protection
The privacy masking allows you to mask areas of the image so that they cannot be displayed or recorded. The size and position of these masks are programmable. This feature is useful in applications where a camera has visibility into areas that are not relevant for security purposes and where the operator of the camera could face lawsuits for violation of privacy.
Multi-stream support
The network camera supports multiple video streams with different properties such as resolution and frame rate for different users or applications. All video streams can be scaled independently of one another and optimally adapted to the respective application. For example, the required bandwidth can be significantly reduced for one stream by reducing the frame rate, while for another stream the compression can be increased for the same purpose.
ONVIF support
The integration of ONVIF defines a general protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices, including automatic device detection, video streaming and intelligent metadata. ONVIF makes it possible to allow numerous products from different manufacturers to interact with each other without complicated and time-consuming development.
High-quality construction to protect against vandalism
The PTZ megapixel network camera has a robust die-cast aluminum housing and a durable polycarbonate dome to protect against vandalism. This means that the camera complies with protection class IP66. It has also been equipped with a heater and a fan to enable use in harsh environments. Optionally available wall and ceiling mounting brackets also offer a special cable duct for the camera cables.
Outdoor use even in extreme temperatures
The camera was specially developed for outdoor installations in extreme temperatures. Integrated fans and heating elements, which only switch on at appropriate temperatures, enable the camera to be used at temperatures between -30° and +65°
