NEOSTAR NTI-D3015IR IP Dome Network Camera

The NTI-D3015IR is a 3.0 megapixel dome network camera equipped with infrared LEDs and a high-resolution 4mm megapixel lens. In order to withstand the most adverse environmental conditions, the dome camera was housed in a weatherproof and vandal-proof housing with a polycarbonate dome and is therefore ideally suited for outdoor installation. Thanks to the flexible 3-axis camera mount, the NTI-D3015IR can be mounted on ceilings and walls.

In 3.0 megapixel mode, the dome camera delivers 12.5 frames/sec. and in 2.0 megapixel mode (1080p) the recording and playback takes place at 25 frames/sec. With the high resolution, night vision through built-in infrared LEDs and the modern H.264 compression technology, an excellent overall package is provided for around-the-clock surveillance.

The NTI-D3015IR has a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS recording sensor with high light sensitivity in color and monochrome mode and a built-in infrared blocking filter. The infrared blocking filter automatically switches from color to monochrome mode as lighting conditions change. It is therefore suitable for almost all applications in which excellent images are required both during the day and at night.

To ensure the best monitoring results, the NTI-D3015IR has a 4mm megapixel lens, a swiveling IR blocking filter and night vision with a range of up to 25 meters in complete darkness. In addition, the weatherproof housing of protection class IP66 protects the camera against rain and dust and ensures operation in all weather conditions.

With a newly developed noise suppression function, the noise behavior of the network camera is noticeably improved and also has a positive direct effect on the image quality at times when there is insufficient lighting.

The NTI-D3015IR offers numerous advanced functions that enable the full use of high-resolution video images. With the ePTZ function, you can zoom into an interesting region in the camera view with just a few mouse clicks via the web interface, software or network video recorder. In addition, functions such as manipulation alarm, data protection masking, watermarks and data transfer to a NAS server are also part of the overall package of the small network camera.

Like all modern network cameras, the NTI-D3015IR has a dual power supply. This can be done via DC12V or optionally via Power over Ethernet (PoE) if a Power over Ethernet capable switch or injector is available.

infrared lighting
The built-in infrared LEDs provide a solution to the well-known dilemma of poor visibility in total darkness and high resolution. The light sensitivity of the camera usually deteriorates more and more with higher megapixel resolution. To prevent this, powerful infrared LEDs developed for particularly poor lighting conditions were installed in this network camera. The infrared LED integration leads to a significant improvement in the range of vision and sharpness of the image in absolute darkness.

privacy masking
This feature allows areas of an image to be masked so that they cannot be viewed or recorded. The size and position of these masks are programmable. Privacy masking is useful in applications where a camera can see areas that are not relevant for security purposes and where the camera operator wants to avoid privacy claims.

Multi stream support
The network camera supports multiple video streams with different properties such as resolution and frame rate to different users or applications. All video streams can be scaled independently of one another and optimally adapted for the relevant application. The bandwidth required for one stream can be significantly reduced due to the reduced frame rate, while the compression for another stream is increased for the same purpose.

Power over Ethernet
The advantage of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is that the network camera that is connected to the network cable can be supplied with power directly. Cameras that have been installed in places that are particularly difficult to access do not require an additional power supply via a power pack.

ONVIF support
ONVIF integration defines a common protocol for information exchange between network video devices, including automatic device discovery, video streaming, and intelligent metadata. ONVIF makes it possible to use numerous products from different manufacturers without a complicationted and time-consuming development to interact with each other.
