The new Dreambox DM520 HD is a satellite receiver with a modern design and technical equipment at the highest level. The new video standard H.265 which is required for DVB-T2 reception in Germany and many other countries. (It is supported by the HDTV-Dreambox.)

A latest generation Broadcom chipset (BCM 73625) ensures fast switchover times and smooth navigation. The DM520 is supplied with the popular RCU20 multi remote control for dream boxes and playback devices such as televisions or Blu-ray players. TThe DM520 also supports the Sat> IP standard. The Dreambox is connected to the Internet via the rear Ethernet port or optionally via WLAN.

The futuristic design of the DM520 with the colored status LED display embodies the innovative strength for which the dream boxes are known worldwide. The DM520 has an illuminated touch-on / off sensor on the front. Among other things, there are two USB ports on the back, via which the user can restore the Dreambox by hand in the event of a flash crash, without having to send it in.
