The compact Dreambox DM525 sets new standards with its modern design and technical equipment at the highest level. The new video standard H.265, which among other things is required for DVB-T2 reception in Germany and many other countries, is supported by the HDTV Dreambox.
A Broadcom chipset of the latest generation (BCM 73625) ensures fast switching times and smooth navigation. The DM525 is supplied with the popular RCU10 multi remote control for Dreamboxes and playback devices such as televisions or Blu-ray players. The 256 MB flash memory typical for compact boxes is trumped by the DM525 with 512 MB - enough memory for innovative IP services. Some apps are already being planned for this. The DM525 also supports the Sat> IP standard. The Dreambox is connected to the Internet via the Ethernet port on the back or optionally via WLAN.
The futuristic design of the DM525 with the colored status LED display embodies the innovative strength for which the Dreamboxes are known worldwide. The DM525 has an illuminated touch-on / off sensor on the front. On the back there are, among other things, two USB ports via which the user can restore the Dreambox himself in the event of a flash crash without having to send it in.
The main feature is the new BCM 73625 2000 MIPS processor with H.265 HEVC support
