The Octagon SF8008 V3 Supreme Twin differs from the SF8008 Supreme mainly in the DVB-S2X tuner and demodulator used. The V3 Supreme uses the Silabs Si2166-D60 tuner in combination with the RDA5815m, which is particularly advantageous when processing low symbol rates. However, this change does not affect the reception of German Astra satellites (e.g. Astra 19.2°E), as both models are ideally suited for these frequencies. These differences therefore mainly affect the reception of satellites with lower symbol rates and are not relevant for everyday use with German satellite frequencies.
