Digital Devices Multi-Master PowerLine Coax 500 Up Dose Extension Set (2x Up Dose) - PowerLine via coaxial cable

With the Powerline flush-mounted box Poli Coax 500 you can expand your existing DVB-C cabling for network distribution. Due to many conditions, it is not possible to lay network cables or it is difficult to implement them. WiFi connections often require the use of repeaters across floors to enable stable operation with sufficient data rates, but even then the bandwidth is often not fully usable by all WLAN adapters. The UP box is a DVB-C through box with an integrated Gbit LAN interface. DSL/Ethernet data can be used via the GBit Ethernet connection. The coax socket provides a broadband cable signal (108 to 860 MHz) and can be used with a standard receiver.

Your existing DVB-C socket will be replaced by the PoLi Coax socket in your DVB-C cabling*. All sockets must be connected via the coaxial conductor. The network signal can, for example, be fed in by a router or a streaming server at the first socket and thus enables distribution to the other sockets. The network devices connected to the sockets can communicate with each other, so the distribution of the Internet and data exchange is also possible at any time. The TV signal is decoupled via the coaxial socket and the network data via the RJ45 socket. The individual cans are automatically networked. The first socket can supply up to 5 further sockets linearly with power, this requires a 24V/1A power supply. If more than 5 sockets are used, further power must be fed in from the fifth or sixth socket for further sockets (depending on the cable length).

The Digital Devices PowerLine cans are perfect for smaller company networks, private users and streaming solutions in hotels or private households. Developed and manufactured in Germany.

*If not all sockets of the DVB-C cabling are to be exchanged, always make sure that the DVB-C sockets used are compatible with the 24 V voltage fed in and that the signal connections provided for decoupling have an adequate DC blocker.
