A smart home is a household where components are networked together to provide the occupant with more comfort or security. The shutters of a smart home or the heating system, for example, can often be controlled via smartphone or tablet or automatically activated using sensors at sunset. Examples of the increased security of a smart home are sensors, e.g. inform about a gas or water leak or cameras that can also be controlled via the smartphone.
