What is a Firewire port?
Firewire describes a type of data transfer created by the Apple Corporation. Firewire has a high data throughput rate, so data can be read and written very quickly. In contrast to transmission via USB 2.0, bidirectional data traffic is also possible. Thus, data can be sent and received in parallel.
