The term FBC stands for "full band capture" and means that the entire frequency band of a plane can be received. A program can be viewed with an FBC-compatible receiver, while seven more can be recorded in parallel - with just one cable. In addition, FBC shortens switching times as the next program can already be pre-tuned and demodulated.
